Individual Therapy and Counseling While Walking

Walk and Talk Therapy

Want Some Fresh Air While Getting Professional Support?

Walk and Talk Therapy is a mindfulness-based body oriented therapy that has many benefits for clients. It can:

  • Make it easier for clients to relax

  • Make it easier for clients to stop ruminating

  • Help release physical tension

  • Assist in deep breathing and receiving mind-body insight while processing experiences in a different way.

As the name describes, clients talk with their therapist while walking outdoors rather than sitting in a therapy office. Walking side by side rather than sitting face to face enables some clients to feel more comfortable when sharing in the therapy process.

This alternative therapy is offered to individuals in the central Florida area and is conducted as an extended session. Before getting started, clients need an initial intake counseling session conducted via video therapy.
