ONLINE RELATIONSHIP THERAPY AND RETREATS IN COLORADO, FLORIDA, SOUTH CAROLINA, AND VERMONT
You’ve done everything you can think of to make your relationships work… but you’re facing a turning point in your love life.
Despite scouring r/relationship_advice and r/AIO on Reddit, highlighting the hell out of books on love, and even trying therapy before, you’re sick to your stomach for days worried about:
whether this partnership is gonna make it
if you’ll ever be worthy for love after this last heartbreak did you in
exploring how non monogamy can work for your love life
YOU WANT YOUR RELATIONSHIPS TO FEEL CONSISTENT, COMFORTING, EVEN PLAYFUL AGAIN.
Instead, it feels like you’re constantly trying to prevent something from falling apart while using duct tape as a fix. And if you’re exploring non-traditional relationships? The stakes feel even higher while you deal with managing jealousy, creating solid agreements, and building trust after a betrayal.
You just want love that feels secure, true to your heart, and sustainable.
LET’S GET THE SHOW ON THE ROAD🤘
I’m Paige Bond (she/her)
Owner of Sweet Love Counseling, Master ART Practitioner, Psychedelic Therapy Provider, and Licensed Marriage Therapist
Just as much: a happily married neurodivergent elder emo living for her next concert. There was a time when I knew all the relationship theory… but still felt wrecked by emotional chaos in my relationships.
I remember what it’s like to overanalyze every interaction with my sweetheart. To crave closeness but simultaneously feel undeserving of it, ending in shutting down to feel less on guard with distance. To want meaningful connection, but never feel safe to be yourself, express your desires, or speak up about your needs.
After going through my own journey of learning about how to create secure relationships with my eventual Sweet Love, it clicked:
You don’t need a “perfect” partner or have to say the “perfect” thing. We’re humans and will inevitably make mistakes.
Creating security comes from intentional and honest agreement making with yourself and partner(s) to build a life from a shared vision, rooted in a shared purpose of why you’re even together.
That realization shaped everything about how I work today.
Now I help people move out of survival mode in their relationships and into something more grounded, intentional, and actually fulfilling.
Whether that’s monogamous, non-monogamous, queer, or still being figured out, you get to design what works for you.
Many approaches to relationship therapy are drawn out and too passive which leaves people feeling stuck, dependent on their therapist, or like they’re not actually making meaningful progress. I do things differently.
I BELIEVE:
-
— having an open mind to learning will get you far. Many partners I see just have outdated or plain wrong information.
I see it as my duty to give you evidenced-based education that shifts your perspective to help your relationship last.
-
— my role as your therapist necessitates direct but compassionate call outs of behavior that is not secure functioning and damaging to the partnership(s)
-
— therapy doesn’t have to last forever, but your relationship(s) can
In fact, when I work with partnerships, I have you start with a relationship education workshop before we even meet for the first session. Because understanding what’s happening beneath the surface will jumpstart your success in marriage therapy.

This is where your creative side can feel empowered to make shifts to help you make quicker progress in your goals. As a master certified ART clinician with advanced training, we’ll work together to go from being on “high alert” to feeling more at ease.
ART uses relaxation techniques to help you break free from emotional connections and reactions you have to previous trauma and/or painful experiences that keep you stuck.
-
You may want to “get rid of” certain thoughts or feelings because you think they’re bad or uncomfortable to go through.
Oftentimes, these reactions and internal spirals are part of the human experience. ACT helps you get out of your head and into the present moment so that you can make choices to live a meaningful life.
-
Mind-altering substances with proper preparation and integration protocols can facilitate a powerful journey to shift your perspective and reframe negative stories you’re ready to let go of.
You’ll also be primed to process difficult emotions you’d usually avoid.
-
Based on over 30 years of research, EFT is rooted in the principle of understanding emotional connection (to self and others).
The model helps partners slow down, recognize, and verbalize their relational needs and fears to better understand their reactions.
-
With 50 years of evidenced based studies, the Gottmans have found what makes relationships successful or not.
Being trained in levels 1, 2, & 3 of the Gottman Method, we’ll use structured exercises to help you deepen your friendship, manage your conflict better, and create shared meaning for your partnership(s).
-
The PACT model is deemed as the “show and tell” type of therapy as we won’t sit and talk about your problems. My role is to pay close attention to your verbal and non-verbal cues and assess how collaborative/sensitive you are to your partner’s insecurities.
I’ll coach you to create different experiences of interacting with each other in real time and guide you towards behaving in a more connected way.
Sweet Love Counseling is guided by the belief that anyone can create their dream relationship.
-
You couldn’t vibe with your therapist (See Psychology Today article on this)
You weren’t engaging in the therapy/therapy resources or didn’t have consistent sessions
You didn’t make any changes towards your desired outcome but expected different results
-
Recognizing your strengths
Being open to recommendations, while sometimes knowing it can bring up discomfort
Committing to implementing changes, striving toward the life you want
My Mission
I want people to know that relationships can be the best part of living. Sweet Love Counseling* was born from an obsession to help people figure out their love life.
Harvard research determined the quality of our relationships can predict health and longevity. Life can be bitter.
Why not create a better recipe?
Imagine going from anxious in your relationships, to feeling secure designing partnerships on your terms.
“Sweet Love” is inspired by my own partnership. I believe intentional connection supports self-growth and empowers you to build a fulfilling life aligned with what matters most.
